#668 Halloween Bungalow

To put us in the spirit of the season and to let the neighborhood know we're here, we decide to decorate more for Halloween than we ever have before.

We replaced 3 white light bulbs with orange bulbs on our front porch.  Whew!

But then we see this cool bungalow on the The Craftsman Bungalow web page and we start to think we should go bigger.

Yours in preparing for the season,

#346 Halloween Review

Halloween has been a lot of fun through the years. 1980 in Bartlesville as a tea bag with my friend Bruce the pirate 1981
in Bartlesville as Joe Miner - the Missouri University of Science and Technology mascot
1994 in Overland Park as MisSpell along with MisConduct (Tonya Harding) and MisAdventure
2006 on board the MV Explorer as each other
No costumes for us in 2008 - your Halloween will be spooky enough without it!

Yours in sharing scary photos,
Mary

#254 Erika and Mary together again

On October 31, Erika and I worked the reference desk together at Alderman Library. We were dressed in funny clothes and giving out chocolate.

The last time we worked the reference desk together we were on a ship. We were dressed in funny clothes and trying to find chocolate.
Thank goodness Kelly is usually around to snap photos of these momentous occasions!

Yours in reunions,
Mary

#68 Halloween at Sea

Boo! Halloween at sea for those of us who did not plan ahead was an exercise in creative thinking. Since we’ll be in port and scattered in small groups across Egypt on Halloween, last night was our on-ship party. Creativity ruled. Write Boo! in magic marker on a white t-shirt and you have your Halloween costume. Or think ahead and pack a Santa suit. Or wrap yourself in toilet paper, mummy style. Be a bee!
