The national opera house of Denmark is the Copenhagen Opera House.
The 2005 building has a unique look with a deep overhang, so some detractors call it the Darth Vader theater. But I like it!
It was paid for by Maersk, a Danish shipping company, to the tune of 500 million US dollars. The donation was entirely tax deductible, so the cost was effectively paid by the Danish government.
