#378 Need a VCR?

It's the end of an era. Our VCR is no longer needed. We don’t record television programs on VHS tapes. And as of today, we don't have any old family videos on VHS. (They've all been digitized.) I can remember back in 1979 or 1980 buying my first VCR in Bartlesville, Oklahoma when VCRs first became available for home use. If memory serves, my first VCR cost about $1,000 - just slightly less than my monthly salary. Our current VCR now needs a new home. It is a SONY SLV-N60, purchased in 2000 for $150. We've never had a problem with it. Check out the reviews and let us know if you'd like to take it home with you.
If we know you, it's yours for the picking up. Remote control and operating manual are included. And if you'd like to check out our old family videos, many of them have been uploaded to our YouTube account.

Yours in using our blog to clean out our home,
Mary

  1. Don't you feel just a LITTLE guilty? Didn't you see how SAD your VCR was just sitting there all alone, knowing that you don't love it anymore? I even think I heard it sniffle!
